Handmade in Kenya

I started this week with a visit at Bucharest Christmas Shopping, searching for something special and handmade. I was really surprised to find a very nice exposition of handmade goodies from Kenya. I was expecting Romanian traditional crafted objects.
Half an hour I gazed at the most beautiful handcrafted objects.
There was this bag that got my attention. It is made of some kind of a palm tree leaf and genuine leather. Each one is unique in shape and design, and handmade as the really nice Kenyan women explained to me.
You can find from stone plates, mahogany sculptures, bags, to bugs made of palm tree leafs.
I couldn't help myself and I got two wooden hairpins. I will probably just stare at them because my hair doesn't do hairpins well.
I will probably go back for a necklace!:X

From Paris with Love

I got back from Paris two weeks ago, this was my fall vacation and my 3rd time in this lovely place and I still adore it.

What I love about Paris:

1. Definitely Architecture.

2. That feeling when go out and the city is so beautiful and full of charm that you can only be inspired.

3. Bulangerie, Brasserie&Fromagerie.

4. I can't get enough of the Eiffel Tower.

5. I love the parks, I would by one if I could and put it in front of my house.

6. The people are so different and fascinating comparing to your own people.

7. Museums for anything.

8. Beautiful doors&windows.

9. Weird people you must like.

10. Subway covering every inch of the city, in the fastest way possible.

11. Expensive brands not bothering you, because they fit just perfectly there.

12. A lot of dogs, I love dogs.

13. And the last thing, there is something in the air...something about Paris!

The Beautiful Peles

One of my favourite places in Romania, Peles Castle, is also one of the most beautiful castles in the world. The Neo-Renaissance architectural style makes it an unique edifice of it's kind from Europe in the mid-twentieth century. Peles is situated in Sinaia and it used to be the summer residence of the Romanian royal family. Yes, once upon a time we had our kings&queens.
I totally recommend you to visit this magnificent place!
